The Shuttleworth Dental Clinic on Fort Irwin

The Shuttleworth Dental Clinic on Fort Irwin provides all facets of general dentistry and specialty care offered only to active duty service members. Procedures performed include examinations, cleanings (prophylaxis), preventive services (fluoride, sealants, instruction), tooth fillings (restorative), root canals (endodontics), gum disease treatment (periodontics), crown and bridge, as needed, extractions (oral surgery), removable dentures, as needed and referral for complex oral rehabilitation, as needed. Pediatric dental services are also available.

Remember, dental coverage is separate from TRICARE medical coverage. Shuttleworth Dental Clinic currently serves Service Members and dependents 17 years and younger.

Starting September 1, 2021, all dependents 17 and under of active duty service members are eligible for routine dental care at Shuttleworth Dental Clinic. Appointments can be made in person or by phone at 760-380-9266.
