Welcome to Department of Radiology at Weed Army Community Hospital. We are committed to providing outstanding diagnostic imaging services to members of the Fort Irwin and Yuma Proving Ground communities. Our imaging technologists are highly trained and highly skilled, and they look forward to serving our patients.

Services

Diagnostic X-Ray Diagnostic x-rays are on a walk-in basis. Appointments are not necessary. Emergency orders, such as STAT exams and ASAP exams, have precedence over routine exams. Examinations are only performed with a provider referral. Radiology can perform all types of diagnostic x-ray examinations. X-rays are seen on a walk-in basis starting at 0800-1200. No appointments needed. Fluoroscopy Fluoroscopy examinations require an appointment. While they can be scheduled for any business day, generally exams are available on Tuesday and Friday. Examinations are only scheduled with a provider referral. Radiology can perform most types of fluoroscopy examinations. Computed Tomography (CT) CT examinations require an appointment. For patient safety, all CT exams are reviewed by the supervising radiologist prior to scheduling. Appointments can be made approximately 24 hours after your provider enters the order in the system. Radiology can perform most types of CT examinations. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) MRI examinations require an appointment. Examinations are only scheduled with a provider referral. Radiology can perform most types of MRI examinations. Ultrasound Ultrasound examinations require an appointment. Examinations are only scheduled with a provider referral. Radiology can perform most types of ultrasound examinations.
